The master has been successfully working on fireplaces and marble since 1998. The hands of the master made hundreds of various works of marble: fireplaces, window sills, marble tables, countertops, consoles, stairs, kitchens, bar counters, marble floors and much more.

The craftsman’s hobby is fireplaces of any complexity and design, and not only from marble, but also from other decorative materials. The peculiarity of the master is that it combines several masters in harmony. He himself performs all types of work, first stove (installation of the furnace, chimney and all heating equipment, up to distributing heat from the fireplace throughout the house), then cladding from high-tech and up to sculpture. For two decades, the master managed to work with fireplace inserts of all European brands, including elite inserts made of special so-called weapons steel grades, the cost of the inserts themselves starts from 3.5 thousand euros and up to 6 thousand euros.

Preference, master, gives French fireboxes, and the quality is good and not very expensive. The master does not work and does not install the cheapest fireboxes, as they can burst, or they can lead, and the master never redoes the work, therefore he works with high-quality materials or does not work at all. Therefore, 100% of the work performed serve for decades and delight customers, while not requiring additional care or repair.

All marble carvings are carried out by the master manually with full grinding and polishing according to the technologies used in the Renaissance. Of course, the master does not grind the stone with sand and does not polish with straw, as Michelangelo Buonarroti did, for this, today, there are many developments of special tools made of artificial diamonds and hard alloys, etc. But the uniqueness in the processing of marble is that even after decades, the products made by the master look like they have just been finished. These words are not self-promotion, the master has statistics on the state of the work performed 5, 10 and even 15 years ago in perfect condition, and if the customer does not break the product with a hammer, then the first 100 years it will stand for sure.

Today, many inexpensive products carved on CNC machines have appeared on the stone-cutting market. In pictures in magazines, photographs or websites, it is almost never possible to see small flaws that remain after stone processing by a soulless machine. Sometimes they are practically invisible and can only be detected by probing with your hands or after a short time, after purchasing the product, the customer discovers that the product has a lot of chips and microcracks, which, moreover, got dirt and dust and which cannot even be cleaned. Or the product is varnished and after a while, under the influence of the sun, heat and other factors on the stone (especially light, white), the varnish with which the product was coated suddenly turned yellow, and it very quickly becomes ugly from beautiful.

For the uninitiated, the master explains that a carved product with high-quality grinding and polishing, and even more so a marble carved portal, cannot be cheap. In addition, there is physical polishing and chemical polishing, where instead of complex and expensive grinding and polishing, the stone is coated with special varnishes, impregnations, with the effect of wet stone, etc. For example, in order to carve a stone manually, you need to spend one week, then it takes three to four weeks to finish this product, plus expensive consumables and tools. In order to get a product of good quality, you always need to tinker, and “quickly” does not happen well. Often, customers demand to hire a few more specialists to finish the job yesterday. The master laughs, if nine pregnant women are gathered in one place, no matter how hard they try, in a month the child will still not be born. Creativity always needs inspiration.

Almost all carvings made on CNC machines are made on a homogeneous material, almost always without a pattern. The fact is that the machine does not know how to think. Quite often, the stone itself suggests a drawing or its location to a sculptor or carver. The stone always hides those artistic images or solutions that only a person can realize.

For example, in order to see the images hidden in the stone, Michelangelo Buonarroti, at night, went to the quarry where the blocks of marble lay, so that the first rays of the sun literally pierced the stone, and he saw the images hidden by God and nature. A story is known that the marble block from which the Master made David was bought by another sculptor, and after a crack was found in it, it was rejected, and was considered unsuitable for many years. The master extracted from it what, most likely, the Lord God himself laid in this block. The next reason for processing pure stone is that only real masters can assemble a fireplace with a pronounced pattern, so that the main details of the pattern coincide and it looks like it was carved from a single block, and there have always been not many of them.

Colored marble, and marble is limestone, contains almost the entire periodic table. For example, green color in marble is chrome, gray is quartz, red is iron, etc. The machine will cut out more or less qualitatively from any stone in a rough cut, but it is not able to grind, and even more so polish, a heterogeneous material with high quality. This can only be done by human hands.

All presented works are realized by a master who lives in Ukraine. Only what the customers were willing to pay was completed. To order a product, an advance payment of 100% for materials, and 50% of the cost of work. The finished product from the workshop without 100% full payment, minus the amount for assembly, does not leave.
