Fireplace Eugene – the second author’s work of the master, made almost immediately after the work of Christina. The project of the fireplace is the famous Moscow sculptor Alexander Levanovich Shengelia. The fireplace is made of Greek marble Ioaninon Bezh. Block columns. Fireplace facade slabs 3 cm thick cut and glued together. The stone itself is not considered sculptural as it belongs to the dolomite. There are small defects in the stone, cracks that the master left and this gave the fireplace the appearance of past eras. The fireplace is alive, that is, a French firebox is installed – a continuum, of long burning. Despite the complexity and high cost of facing, the fireplace can be heated continuously, for several weeks, without fear of damaging something. The chimney is made of high-alloy stainless steel. The work on the fireplace took 10 months.
